WHOA! Did Trump Just Admit That He’s Guilty and is Whining That He Couldn’t Make a Plea Deal?

Trump’s Historic Indictments

Donald Trump has made history as the first president to be indicted and convicted of felony crimes. He is set to be sentenced for 34 financial fraud convictions in November. But that’s not all. He still faces 52 more felony indictments.

More Legal Issues

Besides these criminal charges, Trump was found liable for defamation and sexual assault in civil court. He can’t run a charity in New York because he committed fraud. His fake university was shut down and had to pay millions to its victims. Trump is like a one-man crime spree. Yet, he argues he should have “total immunity” to commit any crimes he wants.

Trump’s Plea Deal Complaints

On Friday morning, Trump spoke to reporters at his golf resort in California. He complained about the justice system, saying:

“The only one they don’t make a plea deal with is Trump. They go after their political opponents. Especially when they haven’t done anything wrong. So more charges were dropped yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia. It’s all politically inspired. It’s all against their political opponent.”

Is Trump upset that prosecutors didn’t offer him a plea deal? Usually, these deals are confidential, but it’s likely they did offer him one, and he refused. Plea deals mean admitting guilt to some charges. So, Trump’s complaint suggests he might have been willing to admit some guilt.

Trump’s False Claims

Trump also said:

“We won the case, the big case, The one they said, the big case, the big case. completely won that case. The documents case in Florida. The case was thrown out. The deranged Jack Smith, deranged prosecutor.”

This is not true. The case he mentioned involves him stealing classified documents and lying to the FBI. He did not win this case; it hasn’t even been tried yet. A judge dismissed it on a technicality, but this will likely be overturned.

Trump’s Big Mouth

In his statements, Trump misrepresented his legal troubles and implied his own guilt. His own words are often his biggest problem. So keep talking, Donnie.
