Veterans have shared their thoughts on Donald Trump, and the results are not good for him. A majority of veterans do not believe Trump would support them in combat. Let’s look at the details:
Veterans’ Opinions on Trump
- 54% of veterans think Trump would not have their back in combat.
- 55% believe Trump only looks out for himself.
- 66% say Trump would not win any medals of valor.
Why Veterans Are Abandoning Trump
There are several reasons why veterans are turning away from Trump:
- Trump called veterans “suckers and losers.”
- He invited members of the Taliban to Camp David.
- He praised the military leadership of Nazi Germany.
No other former president has shown this much disrespect for those who risk their lives for our country.
Brian Mast: A Veteran Supporting Trump
One veteran still supports Trump no matter what. Congressman Brian Mast is the chairman of Veterans for Trump. Here are some things he has done:
- Attended an unauthorized campaign photo op for Trump at Arlington National Cemetery.
- Never criticized Trump for draft dodging.
- Attacked Governor Tim Walz’s service record.
Mast endorses a man who sees our heroes as political pawns. He pledged to defend our constitution but participated in the coup on January 6th by voting to overturn the election.

I am running for Congress in Florida’s 21st Congressional District against Brian Mast and Donald Trump’s radical Project 2025 agenda. I am proud to fight for our nation’s service members. My goals include:
