Speculation Only, but I’ll Ask It- What if Trump Flees the Country?

What Happens If Our Former President Tries to Escape Justice?

I watch our very own former president closely—who among us doesn’t? Over the years, I’ve developed a sense of his character and his possible moves in any given situation.

A Predictable Pattern

The man can be very predictable. He’s often said, “Fight, if they hit you, hit them back harder!” Sure, that is a strategy. However, it doesn’t seem to be working for him right now. If he does not regain the presidency, he WILL face consequences for his criminal acts. This could include the shame of going to prison and ending his days as an object of contempt and ridicule.

Facing the Music

To my mind, he doesn’t seem like the type to stand up and face the music. Not ever. If he ever saw the inside of a prison or even house arrest, he’d have to be dragged there by his collar. This raises some interesting questions.

Where Would He Go?

The first question that comes to mind is, if we spotted his plane heading out over one of the oceans, where would he be going to evade American justice? That IS interesting, but I also wonder just how badly we would want to pursue that justice.

International Consequences

Would any nation risk American special forces going in and taking him out of their country? What if Americans decided it was worth going to war with another nation to bring back our most egregious criminal and achieve justice for our people?

So Many Questions

Would it serve any legitimate interests of the country to let him stay and flout our laws? Would he find himself unwelcome and fly around until forced to land for fuel and arrest? These questions have really been on my mind a lot lately—what would we do, how would we do it, and why?

Anyway, work calls. I’m looking forward to your thoughts.

I watch our very own resident traitor in chief closely- who among us doesn’t- and what I’ve developed over the years is a sense of his character, his possible moves in a situation.

The man can be very predictable.

He’s said it himself quite often “Fight, if they hit you, hit them back harder!”.

Yeah, okay, that is a strategy.

However, that doesn’t seem to be working for him at all right now. If he does not regain the powers and office of the presidency, he WILL be censured for his criminal acts by our society. That could include all the ignominy of incarceration and having to end his days as a not newsworthy object of contempt and ridicule.

To my mind, he doesn’t seem the type to stand up and face the music. Not ever. If he ever saw the inside of a prison or even a house arrest type set up, he’d have to be dragged there by his collar.

Which raises some interesting questions.

The first one that comes to mind is, of course, if we did spot his plane heading out over one of the oceans to our left and right where would he be going to evade the long arm of American justice?

That IS interesting, but I also wonder just how badly we would want to pursue that justice?

Would any nation risk American special forces going in and taking him out of their country with all that would entail? What if Americans decided it was worth going to war with another nation to regain our most egregious criminal and attain a just outcome for our people?

So many questions.

Would it serve any legitimate interests of the country to let him stay and flout our laws? Would he find himself persona non grata and fly around until forced to land for fuel and arrest?

This has really been on my mind a lot lately- what would we do, how would we do it and why.
