Russian Stuff Blowing Up: Zelenskyy Says Ukraine Has Tested Its Own Ballistic Missile

Targeting Civilians and Infrastructure

Recently, Russia attacked the Aurora Hotel in Kryvyi Rih, central Ukraine. This is the second hotel destroyed in recent days. Three people were killed and five more injured. It seems they couldn’t find a kindergarten, so they settled for a church.

Military Losses

Another 1,280 Russian soldiers, 52 artillery systems, and an eye-popping 103 cruise missiles have been lost. It’s only a matter of time before they develop their own nuclear warheads too.

Updates from Proletarsk and Kursk

Proletarsk is still burning after 10 days, though not as big. In Kursk, as the song says, “boom, boom, out go the lights.” Russia is now destroying its own towns because that’s what they are good at. They won’t be there for long.

Support for Ukraine

I constantly read rants about the United States not doing enough for Ukraine, holding Ukraine back from this and that. It’s nice to read something like this for a change.

Military Tactics

Form a diamond? Somebody read too much Greek and Roman military history. Perhaps a phalanx would have been a better idea.

Russian Military Failures

Our neighbors were flying forward on armor, the Ukrainians abandoned their positions and ran. They were still running from us then, yeah. Then the order was – to attack on foot, behind the armor. The Ukrainians looked at this circus, returned to their abandoned positions and completely smashed us up.

Also once a helicopter flew over us with a red cross on its belly. We thought there was an evacuation there, or something else. And then he turned around and fired at us – immediately lost three BMPs with paratroopers.

The guy is running along the side of the road with an “Igla”, I tell him “shoot them down”, and he tells me “I don’t know how to use it”. I cursed him so much.

Also funny. The neighbors were pinned down, the only way to get to them is across the bridge, it is under fire. They command us – take the shields from the special forces, form a diamond and go, pull out the boys.

I swear, even in a diamond, or a Roman turtle, or a Teutonic pig – bullets don’t give a damn, and a mortar even less.

Putin’s Response

Wait! You mean that Putin didn’t respond immediately to their video and correct all the injustices? I’m SHOCKED. 😱

Abuse in the Russian Military

The wife of Alexander Valerievich Shirinsky, a squad commander in the 506th Motorised Rifle Regiment, says that along with at least three other men “he was also brutally beaten on the night of August 24-25, tied to a tree for the whole night, his arms and legs are blue from the ropes, his face is covered in abrasions, he cannot walk, he also already had a wound – shrapnel in the chest, but Lt Col Voskoboev still sent him on a combat mission with shrapnel in the chest.”

“Now all those who suffered from his torture have been sent on a combat mission, in fact, they are the main witnesses of these crimes, there are many more victims. Battalion commander Voskoboev abuses alcohol, he is very cruel, I am very worried about my husband.”

I’d say this was a legitimate fear.

Fuel Restrictions for Pilots

According to him, the management of the company requires to fly with a minimum level of fuel in the airplane. Such restrictions do not imply the need to avoid thunderstorms and fly the best route, because of which airplanes run the risk of not reaching their destination.

The main fear is not being able to land before the fuel runs out. Planes now land with 30 minutes to spare. In the event of a drone attack or the announcement of the “Carpet” plan, there may simply not be enough fuel for a second round, let alone landing at an alternate airfield.

Pilots of the Russian airline “Pobeda” are afraid to fly because of the new strict fuel economy. This became known to the Russian media thanks to a pilot who filed a complaint with the police. According to him, the management of the company requires to fly with a minimum level of fuel.

Elon Musk and France

Elon might want to avoid France. On second thought, he’s been working hard and deserves a vacation in Paris. 😂

Hungary and Ukraine

It is amazing to me that Hungary expects Ukraine to allow Russia to continue sending gas to Europe across Ukraine via pipeline.

NATO and Drone Attacks

And if Russia did attack a NATO base with drones, what would NATO do? Pretend it was an accident?

Energoatom’s New Project

Energoatom is Ukraine’s nuclear power agency. Energoatom is preparing to implement the project for the construction of the Chyhyryn NPP. There are plans to build four new power units using AP1000 technology. “Energoatom intends to revive Orbita, making it one of the most modern towns like Netishyn, Yuzhnoukrainska or…”

Fire in St Petersburg

Maybe they are training for oil depot guard duty. Russian Telegram channels report a fire in the Russian national guards troops in St Petersburg.

Speeding Tickets in Russia

This tells you a lot about Russia — they have those automatic cameras that detect if you are speeding and send you a ticket. Well, they have been ticketing cars speeding to get away from Ukrainian drones. Russians are saying now that in the Kursk region, military vehicles are also getting speeding tickets on highways. One unfortunate guy ended up in jail for 15 days for covering his registration plate to avoid the penalty.

Ukrainian Author and Soldier

A Ukrainian soldier/author has a novel out that tells the story of a Ukrainian fighting for the North during the US Civil War. Artem Chekh, a Ukrainian author and soldier, has donned military fatigues twice in the past decade – in 2015 and 2022. Each time voluntarily, yet reluctantly. “It’s much easier to go to war than to run from it,” he explains. In 2023, Chekh released his most ambitious novel yet.

Lukashenko’s Complaints

Lukashenko must have gotten some bad acid. Lukashenko complained that the West is trying to persuade him to fight with NATO against Russia. He also added that he receives “proposals from all sides that I, 99%, cannot accept.” Did he mean Russia and NATO by “all sides”?

Cringe of the Day

Speaking of bad acid trips. Cringe of the day: Russians are filming a series “about Biden, who came to find out why sanctions aren’t working, got lost and is trying to get home.” They say that according to the plot, he should fall in love with a grandmother from “Putin’s squads” and stay in Russia.🤡
