The Interview That Backfired
CNN’s Dana Bash (you know, the one who, along with Jake Tapper, couldn’t manage a single follow-up question to Trump during the first debate) thought she could trip up our Madam VP. Kamala Harris, former prosecutor, accomplished Black woman, and former Attorney General of California—the country’s largest state—was ready. And Dana Bash got a rude awakening during her “exclusive” first interview.
Kamala Harris: Unstoppable
Madam Vice President Kamala Harris forcefully cleaned that clock! And she did it with a smile, too.
All of Dana’s attempts at “gotcha” questions fell by the wayside. Kamala was brilliant! Governor Tim Walz was the best wingman and support system. The vaunted “tough questioner” Dana Bash had quite a few moments of getting “got” herself.
Best Moment: Handling Trump Questions
The best moment for me was when Dana asked about Trump and the “she-ain’t Black” mess. Kamala responded, “same old tired playbook, next question, please!” LOL, LOL, DISMISSED!
A Song That Fits
This whole situation kinda reminds me of that old Marvelettes song, “The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game.” (“Ooh, ooh, my plan didn’t work out like I thought; I had laid my trap for you but it seems like I got caught……”) LOL.
