DonOld Gets the Day After Present – Even the Stock Market Thinks He is a Loser (DJT <$16)

DonOld’s Rough Morning

Oops, DonOld is having a very bad morning. First, he wakes up to every headline screaming he lost the debate. Then the polls confirm the spread.

DJT Stock Plummets

Now, DJT stock is piling on and maybe the $12 dollar target is in sight. At 5:39 AM EDT, DJT stock stands at $15.76, down $2.87. At 10 PM last night, it was trading at $19.20. The next print is at 4 AM and it was $18.12 open in that minute and closed at $16.50 — down only a cool $2.70. Eight minutes later, it traded at $16.36. It has bounced down as low as $15.31 but it is trading in the $15.75 — $15.85 range now.

Big Losses for DonOld

Note that the declines are from the opening $18.12 print today — not the $19.20 from yesterday. In total, from 10 PM last night, DJT is down just under $3.50. For DonOld, that represents a loss on his 114 million shares of just under $400 million overnight. If you assume a starting point of $7 billion at $70, DonOld’s stock has dropped over $5.2 billion from then to today. This is the first time his potential take from DJT stock has been under $2 billion.

Onward to Under $1 Billion

Onward to under $1 billion. Only another $10 down on DJT price and a sale of all his stock won’t cover the fines he owes. I am hoping.

Gas Prices Drop

Just to add one more delicious note — since April of this year US wholesale gasoline prices have dropped from $2.80 per gallon to $1.90 per gallon, a drop of 32% — good for Kamala. DJT stock has dropped from $62 per share to $16 per share, a drop of almost 70% — bad for DonOld. This just keeps getting better.

Update: End of Day Support

The end of day support is showing up — the problem is that the volumes seem to be getting bigger for less and less of a bump. Not a good sign for DonOld. The water seems to be pouring over the dam at a faster rate.
