This is a bit on the macabre side. The Lincoln Project takes a spin into an imaginary future where Donald Trump is perpetually getting reelected, because he is now dictator and the two terms limitation doesn’t apply. It’s scary. It’s got the same vibe as those post-apocalyptic episodes of Twilight Zone and Outer Limits that used to scare the beejesus out of me as a kid.

The final message, Vote Him Out, is absolutely what we need to hear.
It’s been a sobering day. Not only is Amy Coney Barrett now on the bench, but the Supreme Court rejected the Democrats request to extend the deadline for counting mail-in ballots in Wisconsin. These are events that make me shudder, despite the daily good news of Joe Biden maintaining his lead and Trump making an ass out of himself.
So with those discordant notes already sounded, this dark theme from Lincoln Project is a trifle unnerving.
In all events, this ad depicts a possible future that we cannot allow to take place — again, just like the post-apocalyptic scenarios that we all watched in the Cold War era.
Let’s just hope everybody gets to the polls and ends this nightmare. This ad conjures up feelings of election night 2016 and I can’t go through that again. As bad as it’s been, you know how much worse it’s going to be if somehow he gets reelected.
