Welcome to Tweets of the Week, or as us regulars call it, TOTW. If you’ve never visited here before: each week I scour the depths of Twitter, looking for some of the best commentary on the Comedy of Terrors that is American politics in the 21st century. All of that is a high-falutin’ way of saying that I use this space to point and laugh at the buffoons that ionhabit the right side of the political landscape.

Commenters add their own Twitter finds, and quite often do a better job of it than I do. So don’t leave without reading the comments (and how often do year hear that on the Internet?) And definitely feel free to add your own finds.

Thanks and a shoutout to jqjacobs for their contribution to this week’s collection. If you see a tweet you don’t think is all that funny, that’s theirs. The really good ones are, of course, all mine.

But enough of my yakkin’. Let’s rock.
