This is how www.vox.com/… summarizes Trump on “60 Minutes” tonight — grossly dishonest, woefully ill-informed, and congenitally incapable of admitting error or demonstrating any kind of moral or intellectual growth.
Donald Trump trusts Kim Jong Un but not American climate scientists. He knows more about NATO than Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis. He thinks the European Union was created to take advantage of America on trade. And he isn’t sure whether or not Vladimir Putin is involved in assassinations.
In short, his sit-down interview with 60 Minutes’ Lesley Stahl revealed the president of the United States to be grossly dishonest, woefully ill-informed, and congenitally incapable of admitting error or demonstrating any kind of moral or intellectual growth.
He is, in other words, totally unfit for high office and fairly obviously so. Even more amazingly, despite Stahl covering an incredibly wide range of issues she broke essentially no new ground. Every terrible, disqualifying thing he said was something he’s said before.

Here are a few lowlights of the interview —
Dr. Ford: I’m not going to get into it because we won. It doesn’t matter. We won.
Trust: I don’t trust everybody in the White House, I’ll be honest with you. … But I’m not saying I trust everybody in the White House. I’m not a baby.
Climate change: I think something’s happening, somethings changing and it’ll change back again. I don’t know that it’s man-made. I’m not denying climate change but it could very well go back. Look, scientists also have a political agenda.
Family separation: When I say Obama did it, you don’t want to talk about it.
Allies: I mean, what’s an ally? We have wonderful relationships with a lot of people. But nobody treats us much worse than the European Union. The European Union was formed in order to take advantage of us on trade, and that’s what they’ve done.
Mattis on whether NATO exists in order to prevent WWIII & keep the peace: I like General Mattis… I think I know more about it than he does. Mattis is sort of a Democrat if you want to know the truth.
Putin: He is probably involved in assassinations and poisonings, but I rely on them, it’s not in our country.
Russian election interference: They meddled. But I think China meddled, too. And I think other countries.
Kim‘s human rights violations: Sure. I know all these things. I mean, I’m not a baby. I know these things.
Mueller probe and pledge to refrain from interfering: There is no collusion. I don’t want to pledge. Why should I pledge to you? If I pledge, I’ll pledge. I don’t have to pledge to you. But I have … I have no intention of doing that.
Trump when cornered: Hey, that’s OK. That’s OK. I’m president and you’re not.
Here are a few clips —
Lesley Stahl on Kim Jong Un: "He presides over a cruel kingdom of repression, gulags, starvation…slave labor, public executions. This is a guy you love?"
President Trump: "I know all these things… I get along with him, okay? … Let it be whatever it is to get the job done.” pic.twitter.com/J6Gbuns2t6

As usual, the right-wingers and bots on Twitter are trying to make this look like Trump slaying Stahl while at the same time going apoplectic over “venomous” Stahl’s “mean, disrespectful, …” treatment of Trump.
Leslie Stahl may not have been as tough as we would like her to be but it does appear that Trump was rattled quite a few times and often responded to Stahl with defensive, evasive, puerile gibberish.
Let’s hope voters saw this tonight and will judge for themselves the incompetence, ignorance, corruption, and crookedness of Trump and the whole GOP establishment.
