The reality television performer who is now the world’s American television nightmare, Donald Trump, has been touring South and North Korea this week. As with everything Trump, the only note on the President’s docket is to promote Donald Trump. During a speech at Osan Air Base in South Korea, CNN reports Trump barfed forward this baldfaced lie:

“And, you know, one thing I didn’t mention: You also got very nice pay raises for the last couple of years. Congratulations. Oh, you care about that. They care about that. I didn’t think you noticed. Yeah, you were entitled. You know, it was close to 10 years before you had an increase. Ten years.”

This is not a real thing. This is probably because Donald Trump really knows almost nothing about how the world around him works. U.S. military had pay raises every year of the Obama administration. In fact, what Trump is mushing up in his head, let alone taking credit for is the recent pay raise for military personnel is the largest in ten years. An increase the Democratic Party has been pushing while the Republican Party busied itself with giving the wealthiest Americans tax breaks.

I guess Trump forgot to mention that future military pensions and pay are being scrutinized by upper brass in order to figure out ways to pay for Trump’s border wall fantasy.

This mystery meat could only be supported by people who actually believe what he says, or see no problem with lying. If he gets re-elected it does not bode well for this country. I have to believe our educational system is even worse than we thought.
