“Made in America” is for thee, not for me! That’s the refrain from the entire Trump family. Consider this quote from Donald Trump on Inauguration Day:

“We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies and destroying our jobs,” he declared, adding: “We will follow two simple rules — buy American and hire American.”

As the Washington Post reported over the weekend, none of Ivanka Trump’s clothing and shoes are made in the USA:

While President Trump has chastised companies for outsourcing jobs overseas, an examination by The Washington Post has revealed the extent to which Ivanka Trump’s company relies exclusively on foreign factories in countries such as Bangladesh, Indonesia and China, where low-wage laborers have limited ability to advocate for themselves.

And according to the president of Ivanka Trump’s company, it just isn’t possible!

Abigail Klem, the president of Ivanka Trump’s brand, told The Post that the company is exploring ways to move some production to the U.S., but “to do it at a large scale is currently not possible.”

She’s not the only one in the family who doesn’t adhere to the call to manufacture in the USA. Donald Trump’s hotels are filled top to bottom with goods made elsewhere:
