Steve Bannon attempted to minimize the impact of last Tuesday’s smack down in Virginia by saying it’s a “blue state and all that.” The all that is what’s being discussed this week and according to GOP strategist Rick Wilson “hatred of Bannon is stratospheric, weariness with Trump extreme.”
Path forward: McConnell out with most of the Senate, same with Ryan and the House, ditch Mercer, impeach Trump

GOP does those things and the party will redeem itself. Since I sooner see Trump curing cancer…well
— Ryan Emond (@creativelytired) November 10, 2017
That will only happen with Democrats in charge. It will take a generation out of power to rehab the GOP.

It is going to have to be a coalition of centrists and progressives. We need to focus on jobs, wages, criminal justice reform, reasonable gun control, climate change, infrastructure, education, tax reform, the needs of middle and lower class, and health care.

That’s going to happen regardless. Right now the GOP needs to ask themselves how long they want the recovery to be. I have a plan for a 5-8 year timeline. Hell of a lot better than 50
— Ryan Emond (@creativelytired) November 11, 2017
5-8 years??? That’s ludicrous! If they are given a chance to lead again before 15 years it would b a shameful crime after all the damage they, at the very least have allowed to be done, to democracy!
