Stealing valor is not like taking your taser, much like renaming military bases happens normally. Jeff Sessions is desperate for “his” voters

Even for Donald Trump this is starting to get low. Jeff Sessions is trying to regain his old Senate seat from the Democrat who currently holds it and any other Republican president in Trump’s shoes would be backing that play. Not Trump. He just keeps doubling down on Sessions and making things worse. Which is great. I hope Trump screws this up royally. I simply marvel at the obtuse self-destructiveness of it all. We’ve never seen this before. ….price. You should drop out of the race & pray that super liberal @DougJones, a weak & pathetic puppet for Crazy Nancy Pelosi & Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, gets beaten badly. He voted for impeachment based on “ZERO”. Disgraced Alabama. Coach @TTuberville will be a GREAT Senator! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 23, 2020 This is why Republicans are terrified of opposing Trump. They’re trying to avoid this ugliness. Good work, GOP. Your Frankenstein’s monster is turning on you. And as for Sessions, hey, you weren’t Trump’s killer. He wanted a killer and you let him down and now he’s got Bill Barr to do his killing. So now Trump is going to kill you. It’s as simple as that. These are the politics of the cave and that’s what you signed on for when you endorsed Trump.
The cowardly lion finally realized that courage was taking action whether you were afraid or not, and apparently the Keebler elf has come to the same conclusion. Jeff Sessions must have decided what the hell did he have to lose, except his senate seat, so he took on Donald Trump, after Trump lashed out at him on Twitter earlier in the day and endorsed his opponent Tommy Tuberville. Tuberville's a coward who is rightly too afraid to debate me. He says you're wrong on China & trade. He wants to bring in even more foreign workers to take American jobs. That's not your agenda and it's not mine or Alabama's. I know Alabama. Tuberville doesn't. — Jeff Sessions (@jeffsessions) May 23, 2020 I wish Sessions would expound a bit on how he “protected” the rule of law. I thought this was a parody account when i read that. And it’s a waste to breath to say one more time that the Mueller report did anything but exonerate Trump. “While this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime it also DOES NOT EXONERATE HIM” were Mueller’s exact words. We’ve screamed that into the night for so long now, to no avail. Exoneration is GOP doublespeak for impeached and that’s how it will stay. But on the positive side of the coin, Sessions is showing some spunk. This is better than sending out mailers saying 22 times that Sessions is supported by Trump and in turn is Trump’s #1 supporter himself. It will be interesting to see if Trump gets engaged in this primary, especially since he’s far more worried about how Kelly Loeffler’s tanking is going to bring him down in Georgia and he’s already taking on water in Arizona, where Mark Kelly is double digits ahead of Martha McSally. As stated previously, let the two Republi-rats eat each other and at the end of the day, let’s hope that Doug Jones is still standing. That’s all that matters.
Donald Trump loves getting even. That’s his most funnest thing, just like any pre-school bully with a mean streak. He never grew out of that stage of development, never learned how to get beyond setbacks and let bygones be bygones. Once crossed, all Trump can think about is his revenge. In Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III’s case, that translates as Trump supporting his opponent for U.S. Senate in one of the most contentious primaries in the country and publicly humiliating him. 3 years ago, after Jeff Sessions recused himself, the Fraudulent Mueller Scam began. Alabama, do not trust Jeff Sessions. He let our Country down. That’s why I endorsed Coach Tommy Tuberville (@TTuberville), the true supporter of our #MAGA agenda! https://t.co/pCi7jftce2 https://t.co/sAn1VbxNwc — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 22, 2020 This advertisement is almost self-parody, “I’ll always have the president’s back, to drain the swamp, build the wall, no amnesty, ever.” Yeah, let’s get rid of The Other. Assure the base that you know who the bogeyman is. And Tuberville is a piece of work himself, cut from the same bolt of cloth as Trump. He managed a hedge fund that defrauded investors of $1.7 million and later settled the suits against him out of court, ala Trump University. As you saw from the ad, the one do over that Trump would pick, given the opportunity, would be to not appoint Sessions as attorney general and it’s a cinch that if Sessions had a do over, it would be to never accept. Sessions was firmly ensconced in the Senate before he got involved with Trump and now he’s got a vicious up hill battle, with Trump at his throat and Tuberville at his heels. And of course there’s another angle to this, as well you know: This acts as a detriment to anybody else who would cross Trump. Probably Susan Collins wakens at night in a cold sweat wondering what Trump would say about her if she stepped out of line and Martha McSally rehearses new vows of allegiance to Trump, so she never has to find out either. This is the state of the Republican party. Let us hope that Tuberville and Sessions eat each other alive so Doug Jones can remain in office.
Sometimes people in Washington get it plain wrong!
If conservatives support police killing citizens without justification, climate denial, fact denial, science denial, racist and misogynistic behavior, or a litany of other absurd points of view about numerous important issues, we call them out.
