The Young Turks / YouTube quot F ck Trump quot Truck...

A local Texas woman became the target of a Fort Bend County sheriff after a photo of a decal on the back of her pickup truck, that read “FUCK TRUMP AND FUCK YOU FOR VOTING FOR HIM,” went viral.

Sheriff Troy Nehls posted a photo of the truck and a sign that reads “F__k Trump and F__k you for voting for him.”

In his post, Nehls said there could be charges against the driver: “I have received numerous calls regarding the offensive display on this truck as it is often seen along FM 359. If you know who owns this truck or it is yours, I would like to discuss it with you. Our Prosecutor has informed us she would accept Disorderly Conduct charges regarding it, but I feel we could come to an agreement regarding a modification to it.”

There were many Trump voters who were unhappy with this message because, well, they probably don’t want to face up to how much of an enormous problem they have been complicit in. But, surprisingly, after an anonymous tip, Ms. Fonseca was arrested on an unrelated warrant.

“I had just bought me soup was going to go to the house. I turn around and he says, ‘I’m not going to put handcuffs on you. I’ll follow you to your house, park your truck and come with us,'” Karen Fonseca said after her release. “I go, ‘A warrant? I’ve been doing background checks recently, and they’ve all come out clear.'”

Records show Karen Fonseca is accused of fraud. The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said they made the arrest after getting a tip about the warrant.

“I’m almost certain it does have to do with this,” she said. “People abuse the badge, and in my opinion, money talks. When you’re in politics, people know how to work the system.”

It’s fascistically poetic that a person telling one of the most famous frauds in our country to go fuck himself would be picked up on a low-level fraud claim. But who knows—must be a huge coincidence!

Ms. Karen Cook Fonseca has added a new decal to her truck.

As you can see Ms. Fonseca has broadened her message but without muddying up the simplicity of the message:

She also has a state rep. coming to her First Amendment defense.

State Rep. Ron Reynolds and Fonseca will be holding a press conference at 10 a.m. Monday to discuss the injustice against Fonseca at the Fort Bend County Justice Center.

‘We have to protect people’s First Amendment Right to Free Speech,” Reynolds said. “A difference in political views does not give Sheriff Nehls the right to target citizens. These actions by Sheriff Nehls could be an abuse of his law enforcement authority.”

Nehls quickly deleted his post and according to KPRC 2 wants to pretend he didn’t say exactly what he said.

“The Sheriff made the post on his Personal page. The objective of the post was to find the owner/driver of the truck and have a conversation with them in order to prevent a potential altercation between the truck driver and those offended by the message. Since the owner of the truck has been identified, the Sheriff took down the post. Due to the hate messages he has been receiving towards his wife and children, the Sheriff will not be commenting on the matter further.”

Umm … Fuck you.
