It has already been established that Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath during his confirmation hearing about meeting Russian ambassador Kislyak. Now CNN is reporting that Sessions may have had yet another undisclosed meeting with Kislyak and that the Congressional investigations are digging into this:

Investigators on the Hill are requesting additional information, including schedules from Sessions, a source with knowledge tells CNN. They are focusing on whether such a meeting took place April 27, 2016, at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC, where then-candidate Donald Trump was delivering his first major foreign policy address. Prior to the speech, then-Sen. Sessions and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak attended a small VIP reception with organizers, diplomats and others.

The report says the FBI is also investigating this potential additional meeting.

How many secret meetings with the Russian ambassador have to come to light before Sessions is forced to resign? And why is the leash on Sessions longer than the one on Flynn, who was forced to resign for similar lies? Here’s to hoping special counsel Robert Mueller finds these answers, and soon.
