During the Senate confirmation hearing for Christopher Wray, Donald Trump’s nominee to replace James Comey as the FBI Director, Wray was asked by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) whether Donald Trump Jr. should’ve taken the meeting with the Russian lawyer. Wray bizarrely stumbled around his answer, saying he wasn’t in a “position to speak to it.”

Sen. Graham re-phrased it, saying, “Let me ask you this, if I got a call from somebody saying the Russian government wants to help Lindsey Graham get re-elected. They’ve got dirt on Lindsey Graham’s opponent. Should I take that meeting?”

The answer should be “No. Hell no.” Seems like a no-brainer, right? Wray’s initial response was both bizarre and troubling and Lindsey Graham kept pressing:

Even more troubling is Wray’s hesitation to label Russia an enemy of the United States. Credit where credit is due, an increasingly angry Lindsey Graham kept going at Wray’s string of unacceptable responses:
