Seattle NPR Station stops airing WH Briefings “due to a pattern of false or misleading information”

Seattle NPR listeners won’t have to endure Trump’s torrent of lies and distortions during his daily Drama Queen shows. “…we will not be airing the briefings live due to a pattern of false or misleading information provided that cannot be fact checked in real time.”

I too hope that the networks will follow suit. As someone who had a family member test positive for COVID-19 before dying of pneumonia,  listening to Trump’s self-aggrandizing ramblings, and wishful thinking makes my skin crawl.

U.S. President Donald Trump speaks during a Coronavirus Task Force news conference in the briefing room of the White House in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Friday, March 20, 2020. Americans will have to practice social distancing for at least several more weeks to mitigate U.S. cases of Covid-19, Anthony S. Fauci of the National Institutes of Health said today. My sympathies on your loss. The combination of such devastating news, and such awful things spewing from the mouth of the idiot-in-chief, must be excruciating.
I’m exhausted from being furious all the time.

Kudo’s to Seattle NPR Station. Someone had the balls and decency to shut the Liar-in-Chief down. A ray of for this country. To bad Twitter don’t have the balls.

Well aren’t you arrogant? The public isn’t smart enough to form their own opinions? You need to fact check a presidential news briefing? It’s not a situation you are reporting on. Seriously! Nobody knows the facts or extent of this terrifying disease and what the best course of action is; least of all NPR. I don’t listen to your leftist propaganda anyway, but you just gave me one more compelling reason to not tune in. SMH…

So a National Public Radio station wants to censor broadcasts and play what they think is true and factual….. I guess they think that the listening public believes everything that they hear….. and can not make their own decisions….

Trump only exists if he is covered by our media. No coverage – no Trump.

It’ about time somebody got the Balls to stop airing His lies! I have been writing to every station in Fla and then some to get them to stop. ABC and NBC just will not listen!
