Roger Stone posted this bizarre shot on Instagram.

This is the text from Stone’s Instagram account.
“Through legal trickery Deep State hitman Robert Mueller has guaranteed that my upcoming show trial is before Judge Amy Berman Jackson , an Obama appointed Judge who dismissed the Benghazi charges again Hillary Clinton and incarcerated Paul Manafort prior to his conviction for any crime . #fixisin Help me fight for my life.”
This is what former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance had to say about it:
This is completely out of bounds. The cross hairs will likely lead prosecutors to ask for revocation of his pre-trial release. At best, this is a cheap stunt designed to get the judge to recuse, at worst, an outright threat. https://t.co/wJ1jlWFLIM

Is Stone looking to build an insanity defense? Or, he knows his goose is cooked, so he’s going to go down in flames on the pyre of Donald Trump, as a martyr? This is nuts.
It won’t surprise you, that people are reacting to this shenanigan of Stone’s with outrage. Lawyer and Georgetown University Law School Professor Neil Katyal weighed in.
I would respectfully point out that if Trump didn’t get upset with an actual murder, that of Jamal Khashoggi, why expect him to register much of a reaction at all to a photograph? Trump is made of very dense stuff.
Stone has deleted the photo.
Stone has a photo up there now without the watermark. Okey doke.
Stone wrote this text to CBS News Reporter Kathryn Watson. Good luck interpreting it. Maybe Stone is stoned, seriously.
I think “sentiments for within my first amendment rights” means, “sentiments FALL within my first amendment rights. As to the image being subject to mis-interpretation, how many interpretations of crosshairs next to a woman’s head can there be?
Twitter is saying that the image originated on an anti-Semitic conspiracy site, but I can’t verify that at this time, so take it for what’s it’s worth, unsubstantiated rumor. If true, however, it would be interesting that Stone would have picked that image from that kind of a site.
We’ll see if it flies for Stone. Personally, I think they should find him in contempt of court and throw the book at him.
Roger Stone’s lawyers have filed a “Notice of Apology.” The folks I know would have filed a Notice of Withdrawal as Counsel, but whatever.
Stone admits the post was “improper.” To say the least, to say the very very least.
Legal scholars are weighing in.
Bottom line, as noted on Twitter: the crazies and the Q constituency saw Stone’s post and heard his dog whistle — more like a bullhorn, actually. Damage done, and for Stone, mission accomplished.
He is not the least bit sorry; his behavior in front of the crowd proved that. He needs some jail time to reflect.
He needs to be incarcerated to protect society, the courts and law enforcement from him. He will continue these stunts and threats, and the undermining of his case if permitted to do so.
Pointy-headed weasel I hope cellmate gets a good view of Nixon every day & night when he’s dumping his load……
