Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA) Pounds Jim Jordan (R), Forcing Him to Admit Biden Won. Finally.

Anyone else seeing the analogy here?…

In our nation’s history, exactly 5 Representatives & 15 Senators have been expelled from congress.  Most for Sympathy with the Confederacy.

We are now in a similar situation.  And the only remedy is for the liars to come clean.

Or it’s expulsion.

For all of them.

As Donald Trump continues his self-coup in real time while spouting fraud lies, still refusing to concede, and refusing to call off his goons, his accomplices in the House and Senate remain untouched.

The House is in session already, and is currently dealing with a resolution that calls on VP Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment, removing Trump from power temporarily, as well as  the 2nd impeachment of Donald Trump.  I presume that they will get around to both investigations of the self-coup, from all different angles, and decide what to do with the more than 100 reps who went along with it.

The Senate doesn’t reconvene until January 20th.  Where hopefully the first order of business will be to seat Senators Ossoff and Warnock of Georgia.  And then to handle the business of voting for a new Senate Majority Leader, transferring the gavel from Mitch McConnell to (in all likelihood) Chuck Schumer.

The next order of business will hopefully to get more money in the pockets of starving and homeless Americans, due to COVID.

That perhaps one day of work.

On January 21st, with a new president sworn in, they can get to the business of dealing with their colleagues who were Trump’s accomplices.

At a House Rules Committee meeting today, Democratic members urged Rep. Jim Jordan to admit that Joe Biden won the 2020 election fairly and squarely.

Democrats piled on Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) Tuesday for repeatedly refusing to acknowledge that President-elect Joe Biden won the election “fair and square.”

During a House Rules Committee meeting debating a bill demanding President Trump’s removal from office following the insurrection at the Capitol that Trump incited, chair Jim McGovern (D-MA) urged Jordan to say that Biden won the election “fair and square.” The Ohio Republican has repeatedly used Trumpian rhetoric to push bogus election fraud claims in recent weeks.

McGovern argued that the public needs to hear from those who sowed doubt over the legitimacy of the election process so that the country can begin healing from last week’s Capitol riots — a deadly event that Trump encouraged his supporters to take part in.

“This isn’t a both sides issue. Our Capitol was attacked. Five people are dead. Countless people are wounded,” McGovern told Jordan. “We had a group of domestic terrorists, homegrown fascists, who came to the Capitol building to desecrate this symbol of democracy and freedom, and to do harm to people.”

Jordan finally “relented.”

See it, starting at 7:58

This is what needs to happen.

Even if it takes the threat of expulsion, to make it happen.

All legal and peaceful pressure must be made to bear, from all directions, on ALL of the self-coup accomplices, to admit publicly that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris WON the 2020 election fair and square.

Expulsion is rare.  The situation we are in presently is a parallel to previous situations in which congress people WERE expelled by a 2/3 majority of their houses.

Truth or expulsion

This is simple… a public statement needs to come from both houses and it must be unanimous. There was no concerted voter fraud. There was no political manipulation of the voting process. There was no misconduct of State Voting Regulators. This was the most secure and accurate election in history. There were no problems with voting machines. They were check again and again against paper ballots and matched with near perfection. Virtually every attempt to argue against the election results, has been dismissed on the grounds of there being NO EVIDENCE of any wrong doing. There is nothing else that… Read more »

It just shows how insane it is trying to get through to a white-supremacist. It’s just such a waste of time. Expel, Impeach, or throw in prison and call it a day for the love of God! Does moving FORWARD ring any bells?

No. Not Truth OR Expulsion. Truth And Expulsion. Every single representative and Senator who objected to the ceremonial electoral vote count did aid and abet Trump. Expulsion is lite justice. Should be expelled, never allowed to run for public office, not allowed to vote ever again, minimum 10 years jail time.

It won’t happen but should. The GOP has no constitutional right to object to the certified vote from the states. This should only happen when the electoral votes have not been properly certified by the states and not on the basis of some supposed voter fraud. The objections should have been disallowed but the VP wouldn’t do it.

Does Jim Jordan have two brain cells to rub together in the head of his? When he opens his mouth, what comes out of it is trash.
