Rep. Justin Amash — the former Republican who, by dint of the gram of integrity he has, was compelled to leave the party in July — has called out Donald Trump over, well, this egregious shite pile of a policy:
He sells troops.
“We have a very good relationship with Saudi Arabia—I said, listen, you’re a very rich country. You want more troops? I’m going to send them to you, but you’ve got to pay us. They’re paying us. They’ve already deposited $1B in the bank.” pic.twitter.com/rc1f7heyCP

That he does.
And should this really surprise us? After all, he promises foreign military aid in exchange for election interference.
Amash apparently couldn’t handle the cognitive dissonance that goes with being a member of a party whose putative leader is 300 pounds of corruption, fast-food phlegm, and bad ideas, so when he came out for impeachment last year he was immediately hounded by Trump and his flying monkeys.
He soon regressed into a tea party larval state and is now an independent.
But, hey, at least he can tell the truth about Trump. That’s more than most of these servile devils can do.
And there were responses. Oh, yes:
The US military is now a mercenary army for the country that sent the majority of hijackers to do 9/11.

And sells morals. Don’t forget SA butchered a journalist, our intelligence agencies said it MBS, and trump ignored them.

Our troops aren’t a commodity, they are people, with fams, who risk their lives to serve our country, our nat. sec. and interests.
This sickens me. It’s not who we are.
So, SA is putting $1 bill in the bank? Whose bank? Will milit. families see more in their pay and benefits?

So there you have it. Donald Trump has turned our military into a mercenary force, and only one (former) Republican is willing to trash him for it.
Question: Will Saudi Arabia pay extra for war crimes, or is Trump throwing those in for free just because he gets such a kick out of them?
