Anything that is important in the country these days is being reported with a dual narrative, the factual truth and what Donald Trump and his right-wing media buds want you to believe, because it’s in their best interests.

Take a look at this thread from Mark D. Levine, Chair of the New York City Council Health Committee. See if you find a compelling argument here that everything is on the downswing and filled with “hope” or if it seems to you that this is ground zero in an intense conflict.

This is not the situation that Trump, Pence and Birx characterized Sunday, where rays of sunshine are finally breaking through dark clouds. This is a grim situation about to get much grimmer, still. It is infuriating that Fox News and other right-wing outlets continue to support an agenda of dismissing and minimizing this crisis. All our attention and resources need to be directed to helping New York and to safeguarding as much as possible, against this happening elsewhere.

That is a sad sad situation. The deaths from the yearly flu have never experienced what we are going thru now.

They should name the site “Trump Cemetery”, seeing that he loves taking credit for all he does.

I imagine crematoriums are overwhelmed but hopefully they will cremate as many as possible. Temporary burying and then digging them up and reburying would be inhumane. Imagine the mixup that could potentially happen. Hopefully there is an alternative. I do respect how difficult this decision is and understand why it may be necessary. God bless everyone involved.
