My Pillow guy helps spring alleged killer Kyle Rittenhouse from jail — because it’s 2020, yo

Did you have this one on your road to the apocalypse bingo card? A 17-year-old kid brings an AR-15 to a protest, kills two people and wounds another, and eventually gets sprung from jail with the help of the My Pillow guy and the kid from Silver Spoons.

Of course, that happened, because, well, 2020.

The New York Daily News:

The teenage gunman charged with killing two Black Lives Matter protesters in Wisconsin this summer walked out of jail Friday afternoon after posting $2 million bail.

Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was released from custody around 2 p.m. and handed over to his own security detail after his attorneys posted bond on his behalf, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.

Okay, that’s weird enough, but it gets weirder, because how could it not?

Supporters have been donating money for his bail, and a lawyer Friday said cash from former “Silver Spoons” and “NYPD Blue” actor Ricky Schroeder and My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell helped spring Rittenhouse.

“KYLE RITTENHOUSE IS OUT OF JAIL.” attorney Lin Wood tweeted. “God bless ALL who donated to help #FightBack raise required $2M cash bail. Special thanks to Actor Ricky Schroder … & Mike Lindell … for putting us over the top.”

So Kyle Rittenhouse, who looks to me (and to most people, for that matter) like a murderer, is now a conservative folk hero.

As are these two fine people:

Mark and Patricia McCloskey emerged from their St. Louis mansion with guns after protesters walked onto their private street. The couple, who were criminally charged for the incident, made their case in their opening night speech of the Republican National Convention, saying that they had a “God-given right” to defend themselves and their property.

So why do all these “heroes” look like henchperson applicants the Joker never called in for a second interview?

Hard to believe there are still people out there who don’t believe in white privilege.

Ugh.

Small but important correction here… poor lil’ Kyle is not an “alleged” killer, no one, including him, disputes that he killed those people. He is an alleged murderer (which, with any justice, will be proved out). In the meantime, he is definitely a killer. A disgusting, racist, stupid, gun-fondling killer.

Kyle needs to spend the rest of his life in jail!

If MyPillowGuy and Schroeder paid their money directly for bail, not to a generic defense fund, and Rittenhouse skips, they lose all that money. I hope it was lots of money, hundreds of thousands of dollars each, and I further hope Rittenhouse absconds. Run, Rittenhouse, run! Cost the idiots who’ve funded your release the entire 2 mill in forfeited cash bail.
