MSNBC LIVE: Trump is giving multiple pressers today live at his little golf resort. This is the third or fourth just today — not bad for free advertising.
He made quite a bit of news as he stood by Secretary of State Tillerson, Gen. McMaster, and Nikki Haley.
What stood out was when he was asked about the unrest in Venezuela, he stated he was not taking “military action” off the table! Great! NOW he wants to start a war in Venezuela.
Trump is returning unexpectedly to washington early and promises a major news conference on Monday.
He also said that he, as president, can “do a lot” to affect healthcare.
He stated he thought Iran has violated the spirit of the nuclear agreement…he is still fixated on Iran.
Tillerson tried to soften the bellicose language by saying that they are on the same page and Trump’s language is to make the point he is serious.
Trump was too self-assured so that has me worried! Something is up!
From CNN, Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino responded to Trump’s talk of possible military action:
As Minister of Defense and as a citizen I say this is a crazy act, an act of supreme extremism.
