Kushner Accuses Bob Woodward Of False Reporting, Woodward Says ‘I Report Accurately’

This is the way the Trump regime is going to go out the door and into the history books, doubling and tripling down on falsehoods and fracturing facts all the way. When Trump did his 18 taped interview segments with Bob Woodward, Jared Kushner did a segment with Woodward himself. That’s where the “overconfident idiot” quote came from. Today Kushner went on TV and said that he was referring to people in the campaign and not the administration. That prompted Woodward to get on TV, and in an interview with Philip Rucker of the Washington Post, he set the record straight.

“If you look at Jared Kushner’s quote, he said, ‘Well, there were people in the campaign’ and then suggested he was referring to these ‘overconfident idiots’ in the campaign. In the transcript, it’s clear he’s talking about the administration. The administration is not the campaign.”

“It is kind of this whole idea, you can take facts and kind of turn them and suggest [that]  I’m quite interested in. When Jared says he has tapes, I have tapes. I taped him with his permission. I suspect that he was taping me. He did not extend the courtesy to me that he was taping the conversation.”

Kushner v. Woodward. Talk about bringing a knife to a gun fight. Kushner’s only exposure to truth is how much he lies about it. He has spin meister skills that he’s honed in Trump world along with Kellyanne Conway and the best of them, and he’s stacking those against the reporting skills of a storied veteran journalist, who didn’t get where he got except by knowing exactly what he was talking about.

What is interesting, is that Kushner is blessedly oblivious to how outclassed he is — not only here, but in all his dealings in the Trump administration. He thinks he’s dealing on a peer level with people who are light years beyond him, whether we’re talking about journalists or autocratic dictators. Kushner imagines life as a level playing field and thinks he can take on anybody and any topic because he can read a book about it — or 25 books, in the instance of the Middle East. Kushner is the walking embodiment of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

Kushner is someone to keep an eye on. He’s not some shambling dimwit like Trump’s sons. This ratf#@ker is straight-up evil. The kind that makes dogs slink away, toddlers cry in their sleep, and grown men cast a glance at the gun safe.

How do you “inaccurately report” the RECORDED VOICE?
