His defense failed to convince a NY judge that he is being persecuted.

He found the Trumps’ legal arguments “unavailing,” and affirmed the New York AG’s ability to continue investigating “copious evidence of possible financial fraud.”
I imagine there’ll be a lot of pleading the 5th.
