John Cornyn plays politics while his state mourns, prepares to bury its dead

What’s Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn doing to respond to a gun massacre in his home state, where an entire community is grieving and families haven’t even buried their dead yet? He’s retweeting this:

Elizabeth Warren has never stood on a stage in front of hundreds of people inciting them to hate and violence. And the Dayton killer was a deeply misogynistic, hate-filled person, by most accounts, who did not frame his actions with a political manifesto steeped in racism that didn’t just echo the words of Donald Trump, but used them. That was the El Paso killer who did that.

The one who killed all those constituents of Cornyn. Who could be spending his time consoling families, or giving blood, or anything. Anything at all that would actually help the people of Texas, the nation. For this, the people of Texas need to fire him.

John Comyn, I blame you and other Repugnant Republicans like you, for the mess this country is in. You and you ilk have brought this great country to its knees in prayer that we can soon be free of your kind. You have damaged this country enough. I, for one, will celebrate when the lot of you are voted out of office.

I sent emails to Cruz, Cornyn and our Governor Abbot and gave them a piece of my mind. I know it did no good but I tried. There was a time when I voted for the person and not the party. I am partially to blame for Cornyn. I voted for him because his tv ads made him seem like a good guy. Boy was I wrong. I won’t let that happen again. Did not vote for Cruz or Abbott.
