Jeff Sessions confirmed yesterday he’s running for his old Senate seat in Alabama and his campaign launch video is truly a sight to behold.

Let’s start by reminding the folks out there that Trump has attacked and humiliated Sessions—as witnessed by this comment during a Daily Caller interview.

“You look at what’s happening over at the Justice Department, now we have a great attorney general. Whereas before that, with Jeff Sessions, it was a disaster. Just a total disaster. He was an embarrassment to the great state of Alabama,” Trump told former adviser Sebastian Gorka in an interview published in the Daily Caller.

But… even after being called an embarrassment to his state and a total disaster—Sessions obediently grovels and pays homage to his dear leader in his Senate campaign launch video.

“Great Job!”

That’s the title of the video and Sessions does not disappoint, as he goes on to explain why he didn’t disagree with his dear leader in public:

It would have been “dishonorable” and “I was there to serve his agenda, not mine”. Then he adds that Trump is doing a “great job” and he has his “strong support”, as his genuflecting to Trump video comes mercifully to an end.

That was really embarrassing to watch, but if you needed one video today to prove that the GOP is nothing more than a cult of Trump, this 30-second political ad from Sessions confirms that fact.
