What do the Incredible Hulk and Dr. Oz have in common? Trump’s new sports Council.

Looking more like a contestant list for Celebrity Apprentice than an appointee list, Trump releases the members the ‘Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition’.

The panel of appointees to the Council, which is largely ceremonial, includes people who previously “worked” with Trump on his television show, former Yankees and Red Sox outfielder Johnny Damon, Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno, former NFL running back Herschel Walker, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and TV doctor Mehmet Oz.

Trump signed an executive order several months ago to shuffle the name of the Council so the word “sports” came first. As per usual, it was a small act but places Trump in a position to be cheered by his base on the right.  Trump’s fans interpreted the change as giving a middle finger to Michelle Obama and her efforts to promote exercise and healthy eating for individuals. The Council’s new focus will be on the promotion of team sports instead.

I wonder how pro golfer Natalie Gulbis feels about being on this Council, promoting team sports, when golfing is generally considered an individual sport?  No matter.  It’s all about getting active. And all the appointees are great role models for sports.

But leave it to Trump to make sure he’s at the centre of this, as in everything he does.  Michelle Obama was passionate about “Let’s Move” to make a healthier generation of American children.  It was her mission and her passion.  She was a great role model since she walked the walk and talked the talk.  Many looked to her as an example of fitness, and continue to seek her tips on healthy and active living.

Trump is a great role model for this Council too.  Just look at him.  What kid wouldn’t want to grow up to look like this?

I guess it will have the opposite effect.  Play sports, dear god, unless you want to end up looking like this!!

So all those people actually WANT their careers ruined? Guess so if they choose to “work” for Trump. They must not be aware of the toxic Trump-effect.
