House Judiciary Committee to investigate Trump’s abuses of power

Donald Trump’s abuses of power are so constant that sometimes they fade into the background of every other awful thing he’s doing—especially with congressional Republicans acting like it’s business as usual for a president to publicly humiliate his own attorney general, wage war on the FBI, and attack the courts. But with Democrats in control of the House, there’s a chance to shine a light on Trump’s abuses of power as a disturbing pattern rather than a series of isolated incidents, and Bloomberg reports that the House Judiciary Committee, led by New York’s Jerrold Nadler, plans to do just that.

“A House official familiar with the plans” served as Bloomberg’s source, and “said there are questions about whether Trump, through some of his actions, is going too far and undermining the rule of law, a reference to established and defined limits on the arbitrary exercise of power.” For instance, Trump’s attacks on the media could be considered a threat to the free press.

The committee will consider whether, when, and how Congress can set limits on Trump.

He abuses his power everyday by breathing the air he doesn’t deserve. It’s time to get rid of the bum.

The sooner you get this criminal out of office the better the country will be. Some of the Republican Party members need to be thrown out of office too for being complicit with this criminal.
