Looks like we got a good ruling from the Senate Parliamentarian today. This means additional ability to use reconciliation more than once. May seem a bit too deep in the weeds of technical Senate procedure but the end result means more flexibility for Shumer in getting things done, at least in the budgetary area. It also suggests to me the Parliamentarian is showing some inclination to being helpful with the rules as this was a novel interpretation of them. We still need to bring Manchin et al along but this at least clears the runway a little more.
