As per snopes the gunman “liked” the picture above, on Twitter.
The suspect in the killing of at least 20 people in El Paso posted an online manifesto before starting on the deadly rampage that was described by Texas law enforcement and political leaders as hate-filled and racist.
A Twitter account that appeared to belong to Crusius was shut down Saturday evening. Tweets on the account had praised President Trump and, in particular, his effort to build a wall along the U.S- Mexico border. — www.latimes.com/…
Not going to name who El Paso officials are saying the shooter is by name, because screw giving that monster any publicity, but a tweet featuring this disturbing image is one of the few things he liked from what appears to be his Twitter profile. pic.twitter.com/BYFWoWFshO

Much of our media refuses to call a spade a spade:
fact that NYT says stupid shit like “racially tinged” and “racial flare ups” isn’t just mockery for its own sake or liberal scolding it speaks to a deeper rot in their editorial ideology. It’s evidence their primary charge is softening cognitive dissonance, not conveying reality

And big tech is even worse:
Twitter developed algorithms to purge ISIS content from its platforms, aware that some innocent accounts might be swept up in the mix.
But they don’t do the same to white supremacists for fear the dragnet would sweep up GOP politicians. https://t.co/0sdBYLYf57 pic.twitter.com/fLOIKt3fky
