Swift-Boater/Birther/Trumper Jerome Corso was supposed to record an interview with Anna Schechter of MSNBC this morning. He was putting on a tough-guy face:
Corsi tells me he’s been offered plea deal on one count of perjury. “They want me to say I willfully lied. I’m not going to agree that I lied. I did not. I will not lie to save my life. I’d rather sit in prison and rot for as long as these thugs want me to.”

But then, he suddenly got cold feet…
Jerome Corsi just mysteriously cancelled a taped interview with me at Rockefeller Center. He was about to come in the building but his lawyer advised him not to. His counsel just had a call with Special Counsel. Not sure what happened on that call.

Somehow, I don’t think that Corsi will be able to hold out much longer. He should make the best deal that he can while he still can.
