A Texas man was surrounded and arrested by Secret Service and other police forces this afternoon, as reported by CNBC here. The man had a car nearby with gun and ammo. The indication was that there was an intelligence bulletin from Texas that led to his arrest.

The arrest was observed by a former Hill staffer and his observations are in the piece. VP Harris’ spokesperson referred requests for comment to the Secret Service.
