Brett Kavanaugh considers life to be sacred. But what if a situation came up that really tested Kavanaugh’s convictions?
Maybe he’d be actually be willing to sacrifice himself for his belief in the sanctity of life.
Yeah, that would definitely be a deal-breaker for Bart O’Kavanaugh.
I had posted this cartoon before, but I didn’t make it all that accessible with all the cartoon text as graphics only.
The Trump-appointed justices of the Supreme Court are gearing up for a fresh attack on women’s autonomy. The U. S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case appealed from Mississippi that could potentially overturn Roe v. Wade.
How will confirmed plagiarist Neil Gorsuch, alleged attempted rapist Brett Kavanaugh and supposedly devout Catholic Amy Coney Barrett vote on this one? I think this one will come down to Chief Justice Roberts…
Several states have so-called “trigger bans” ready to go. Those are not bans on fully automatic rifles. They are laws designed to go into effect soon after Roe v. Wade is overturned. As I understand it, activating such a ban would be as simply as a certain state official flipping a switch.
And if that happens, the lives of many women and children in that state will be endangered. That’s because, as regular Daily Kos readers already know, anti-abortion isn’t about the sanctity of life, it’s about regulating women’s bodies.
If we honestly want to end abortion, we must end the conditions that make abortions necessary. I think President Biden’s plans will go a long way towards that.
