British journalist takes on big-time Trump supporter, who proceeds to lose her mind

Oh, how I love the British.

Adam Boulton of Sky News Tonight interviewed MAGA mouse Erin Elmore, the exec director of USA Strong, following the events at the Capitol, and it was a sight to behold.

Boulton’s understated interviewing style seems to have thrown Elmore, whose only two gears appear to be deflection and outrage. All the while, Boulton barely registers emotion—as if he’s interviewing the Prince of Wales or Paddington Bear or a bag of half-eaten crisps.

Enjoy …

BOULTON: “And what about Article, uh, Amendment 25 of the Constitution? Do you feel that this president is fit to serve even for another few days?”

ELMORE: “I think the fitness that we should worry about is that of Joe Biden under the 25th Amendment. We know that he stumbles on his words incessantly. He appears to be in the early stages of Alzheimer [sic], perhaps dementia. Having lived with two grandparents with it, it’s very apparent to me to see. So I think if we’re going to start talking about the 25th Amendment, let’s be very careful what happens next.”

BOULTON: “I’m just going to put it to you finely. I know you’re in Jupiter, Florida, but I think many British viewers in particular will think you are living on another very strange planet which has lost touch with right and wrong and political morality. What would you say to them?”

ELMORE: “Well, your quippy one-liners don’t hurt me very much, and what I tell you is 70-plus-million Americans voted for President Trump, and those are people just like me, who have family that have served in the military, who paid for everything that we’ve ever earned in our life. I wasn’t handed anything by anyone, and I am an American who has traveled all over the world and respects Great Britain and respects Australia and respects every corner of our world. I am the person who supports those who fight our wars and pay our taxes, so for you to call me anything, anything less than a proper God-fearing, God-loving American who loves this country and loves our flag, it’s shameful and disgusting.”

BOULTON: “Okay, Erin, I will thank you for joining us.”

So did Elmore think she was on Hannity or something? Apparently, across the pond, news shows actually cover the news and not Donald Trump’s imminent ascension to the godhead.

Also, let’s worry about Joe Biden and the 25th Amendment after he tries to overthrow the legitimate government of the United States. A guy who’s spent his entire life overcoming his stutter occasionally stumbling over a word somehow seems a bit less problematic to me than, I don’t know, a sitting pr*sident unleashing a mob intent on killing Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence.

But then again, I haven’t traveled all over the world, so what the fuck do I know?

If we’re going to bring stuttering into this, I can say that the Queen Elizabeth’s late father, King George the Sixth, had a stutter, which he worked hard, with help to overcome. That did not stop him from becoming a fantastic King who, with his wife, helped rally and bring the people together, to face a crisis (WW2) that threatened the nation, indeed, the free world. I don’t think Joe Biden’s stutter has any bearing on this and he at least shows humility, leadership and calmness, which is something that this parody of a President, Trump, has absolutely none of,… Read more »

Many of them have. It boggles the mind. Nothing said by anyone rational can change them. Her attack on Biden is disgusting!
