You may have seen the ad where Donald Trump uses a quote from Dr. Anthony Fauci to “prove” what a great job his administration has done with the COVID pandemic. In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, well, why should you be any different than anyone else?

Anyway, here’s the ad:

Usually I provide a transcript with these videos, but I fear my hand will curl up like a dying brown recluse if I attempt it.

Dr. Fauci responded to this bullshit, of course, even though, in so doing, he risked a one-way trip to whatever our equivalent of Siberia is. Branson, Missouri? Mar-a-Lago? I don’t know.

Dr. Anthony Fauci did not consent to being featured in a new advertisement from the Trump campaign touting President Donald Trump‘s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, the nation’s leading infectious disease expert told CNN his words were taken out of context.

“In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate. The comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials,” Fauci said in a statement provided exclusively to CNN when asked if he agreed to be featured in the ad.

So, pretty dishonest on the part of the Trump campaign, huh? I know. You’re shocked.

Now here’s the Biden campaign’s response:

Donald Trump being honest for 20 seconds. How refreshing. How surreal.

If only.

Upon release of this video, A 6 quart jar of a soothing diaper rash ointment needs to arrive at the Oval Office from Dr. Fauci, to relieve what will certainly be epic case of infantile butt hurt.

This is one of those times I wish to say something but I fear that there is nothing left to say. Except to tell trump to quit using people’s information without there consent. Be it statements or be it copyrighted music. Just stop.
