Awkward!! Four Red State Democrats and Two Republicans Decline Invitation for SCOTUS Pick Pageant

Not everyone is as excited as Trump about Trump’s Supreme Court nominee announcement.  Especially not red state Democratic Sens. Joe Donnelly (Indiana), Joe Manchin (West Virginia), Heidi Heitkamp (North Dakota), and Doug Jones (Alabama).  They were all invited by Trump to attend his announcement at the White House.  And they all turned him down.

In addition to the Democrats, Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Susan Collins (Maine) will also not be attending the event.

The message is clear: Trump will not be able to count on any Democratic votes to get his Supreme Court nominee confirmed. If he wants to destroy Roe v. Wade, he will have to do it with Republican votes (and possibly minus support from Murkowski and Collins) because Democrats are showing zero interest in being a part of the Trump pageant.

The only difference between d. trump & a pet fish swimming in a fish tank is the INTELLIGENT EXPRESSION ON THE FACE OF THE FISH.
