Ex-House intel counsel says Rep. Nunes tipping off Trump is ‘breakdown in entire oversight process’

Jeremy Bash is the former chief counsel to the House Intelligence Committee. His background also includes time as the chief of staff to the director of the CIA from 2009 to 2011 and as chief of staff to the secretary of defense from 2011 to 2013. Bash appeared on MSNBC in an illuminating interview. He breaks down precisely why Rep. Devin Nunes’ press conference today, in which  he said he intended to share information with the White House about an investigation involving the White House, is grossly inappropriate. Watch as Bash describes how Nunes’ actions are a “total breakdown of the entire oversight process.”
