Anita Hill / Clarence Thomas is still instructive, because the SCOTUS nomination of Brett “seven virgins short” Kavanaugh is no “high-tech lynching” either. This time there really was an assault.

More interesting is that the 65 high school testimonials for Kavanaugh were organized over several weeks because the GOP knew in August that there would be this disclosure, especially when that polygraph was administered.
1. Kavanaugh's accuser is now on the record: Her name is Christine Blasey Ford
2. Ford has offered a detailed account of sexual assault by Kavanaugh
3. Ford's account corroborated by therapists notes from 2012
4. Ford passed a polygraph test by former FBI agent

If you are a GOP Senator or staffer and you're about to start attacking Christine Ford, maybe stop first and think about if this is who you really want to be in life.

The reality of Anita Hill’s story is that she was officially persecuted in Oklahoma for many years in retaliation after the nomination of Clarence Thomas, until she left to take jobs elsewhere.
One hopes that Ford has similar courage and resilience.
