The wedding was a beautiful reprieve and much-needed reminder of how some things can still bring the world together. Extending the loveliness of their wedding day on Saturday, Duchess Meghan Markle of Sussex and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex donated all the flowers from their ceremony to hospice organizations in London. The flowers consisted mostly of white roses named after Princess Diana. Here’s a picture of one happy royal bouquet recipient.

Prior to the wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle asked that anyone who might wish to send them a wedding gift, make a donation instead. The couple listed seven different charities they personally chose.

“The couple have personally chosen 7 charities which represent a range of issues that they are passionate about, including sport for social change, women’s empowerment, conservation, the environment, homelessness, HIV and the Armed Forces.”-Kensington Palace

One might imagine or beleive the spirit of Princess Diana is smiling down.
