This White House just keeps getting classier and classier.

A White House official mocked Sen. John McCain’s brain cancer diagnosis at an internal meeting on Thursday, a day after the Arizona Republican announced his opposition to President Trump’s nominee for CIA director, Gina Haspel.

Special assistant Kelly Sadler made the derisive comments during a closed-door White House meeting of about two-dozen communications staffers on Thursday morning.

“It doesn’t matter, he’s dying anyway,” Sadler said, according to a source familiar with the remarks at the meeting.

Hmm. Is that better or worse than the Fox News “analyst” mocking McCain on-air for being tortured during his time as a prisoner of war? Is there a metric for these things? What’s that unit of measurement gonna be called, any suggestions?

Both sources said they believed the comment was intended as a joke, but that it did not go over well with others at the meeting.

Yeah, everybody in conservatism considers themselves a real Dennis Miller. It’s all Sarah Sanders can do to keep the team from putting on a standup show in the press room.

  1. And the hateful Right rears its ugly head again! How anybody can still be in the corner of these cannibals is beyond me. Such a shame that nobody is doing anything to stop these evil minions from destroying a once great country. Illegitimate “president”, rampant corruption, and now people at the top openly mocking a dying man, the modern day Republicans have no morals or compassion, if they ever had any to begin with, that is. );

  2. How have we come to this? There is no one in the president’s sphere with a hint of class, let alone empathy.

    • And you’re just now noticing that? Where have you been for the last year and a half, actually more like ten years minimum.
