I’d like to draw attention to this part of James Comey’s interview with ABC News:

JAMES COMEY: Yes. But not in the way m– I often hear people talk about it. I don’t buy this stuff about him being mentally incompetent or early stages of dementia. He strikes me as a person of above average intelligence who’s tracking conversations and knows what’s going on. I don’t think he’s medically unfit to be president. I think he’s morally unfit to be president.

Most commentators concentrated on the ‘morally unfit’ part of his testimony, but I think the highlighted sentence is very significant as well.

I believe this description coming from an experienced FBI agent should count as important evidence, especially considering his background: James Comey was Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and took part in prosecuting and ultimately taking down the Gambino mafia and crime family.

Let’s see what heirs of the Gambino mafia boss think about Comey and Trump today:

‘Comey comparing Trump to a Mob boss is a compliment,’ said Giovanni Gambino. […] ‘Maybe we should have a real mob boss for president,’ said Giovanni, 43-year-old cousin to infamous crime boss Carlo Gambino.

I see there are no hard feelings left there, don’t hold back Giovanni!

We should remember that:

When it comes to Donald Trump the old adage of “Never assume malice when incompetence will suffice” must be turned around: “When it comes to Trump, never assume stupidity when viscous malice will do”.

There’s ample of evidence of malice:

  • For example Donald Trump’s sabotage of Puerto Rico recovery which is costing lives every day is not incompetence, but rampant racism and collective punishment of what he sees as a lesser race living in a shithole country…
  • You think Trump didn’t fire Rosenstein on Friday, because he was “scared” or “worried”? No, it was I believe part of a massive, concerted “head fake” PR maneuver trying to bluff Rosenstein into saying something that hurts his impartiality and which could be construed as a firing offense. (Fortunately Rosenstein didn’t take the bait.)

Comey will always be remembered for his mis-handling of the Clinton email investigation,  but while he deserves ample criticism for that James Comey has also seen mobsters faking to be simpletons, to make you underestimate (and dismiss) them.

James Comey has first hand experience with the mob, and he is, to his core, disgusted by mobster boss Donald Trump. As he says in his book:

“The silent circle of assent. The boss in complete control. The loyalty oaths. The us-versus-them worldview. The lying about all things, large and small, in service to some code of loyalty that put the organization above morality and above the truth,”

Democrats, people on the left keep underestimating Trump — and the media is falling for it, by believing both his bluster and his bumbling — but I think it’s in large part an act — and a very dangerous one.

So remember: once Trump gets two more arch-conservative justices on the U.S. Supreme Court then this November might be the last democratic election the U.S. has in a lifetime.

So go vote and convince others to vote!

  1. Please! Donald Trump is an idiot. In fact there’s nothing smart about him. He eats this crap up, stories like this, feeding his worthless ego. Donald Trump is like a mob boss. Hell, he couldn’t spell “mob boss” even with a dictionary.
